What is a Memory Cafe?
A Memory Cafe is a community-based gathering designed to reduce isolation and stigma for those with memory loss and their care partners.
It is:
Designed for adults experiencing memory loss, with or without a formal diagnosis, and their care partners.
A place to socialize, create, and connect
Inclusive of care partners, friends, and family
Run by dementia-trained facilitators and volunteers
It is NOT:
A facilitated support group
A drop-off respite program
A sales or marketing opportunity

1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Onsite parking available. You may loan a free pass from Friendship Center upon arrival or purchase your own annual parking pass using this form.
Participation
The Memory Café is a social and recreational program, not a therapeutic or healthcare related service.
Participants must be able to attend safely and voluntarily, with or without a care partner
Guests requiring personal care or behavioral support must bring a care partner
Friendship Center and the City reserve the right to decline participation if needs exceed program scope or behavior disrupts others
When appropriate, referrals to other community resources will be provided
